Literature and Insights
The APIRA 2001 Conference will include a segment featuring the literary contribution to accounting analysis. Conference participants will join with local writers in exploring the resources of poetry and other forms of literature in providing insights into the world of work, the processes of social organisation, the plight of the individual at the heart of the 'systems' we construct to entrap ourselves. Participants are encouraged to submit literary works across a range of genres for inclusion in the program, either as a part of special sessions dedicated to language and cultural analysis, or as reflective, stimulating (and
entertaining)moments throughout the whole program.
