Admission Requirements

Domestic students

Programs offered at the University of Adelaide can have several different applicant pathways, or sub-quotas. The four most common for undergraduate programs are year 12, higher education, TAFE, and special entry

Language Requirements

English is the language of instruction at the University of Adelaide and proficiency in speaking, listening to, reading and writing English is essential.  Students without an acceptable level of English language will be required to undertake an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and achieve an overall band score of 6.0, with a minimum band score of 6.0 for writing and speaking and 5.5 for listening and reading.

 

Applications

Domestic students

Application to all undergraduate programs at the University of Adelaide is made through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).   SATAC Guides are available form SATAC and newsagents around July each year.  There is one Guide for Schools and one for Tertiary students.

International students
