The CPA Joseph Fisher Medal for Accounting
CPA Australia has offered to provide annually a prize to the most distinguished graduand in the B.Com (Accounting) and the following rules have therefore been made:
- The prize shall be known as "The CPA Joseph Fisher Medal for Accounting”.
- The Prize shall be awarded annually for a period of five years, commencing in 2001.
- The annual prize shall be $300 plus the Joseph Fisher Medal (engraved).
- The prize shall be awarded by the School of Commerce on the recommendation of the Executive Dean of the Faculty of the Professions to the most distinguished graduand in B.Com (Accounting), provided that, in the opinion of the examiners, the candidate is of sufficient merit.
- Where two or more candidates are of equal merit, the award shall be shared equally.
- The terms of the prize may be varied at any time by agreement between CPA Australia and the University.
